WÜRZBURG, Germany

 

 

In October of 2004, this was the Bavaria’s highest construction. In total more than 143,000 m2 of formwork was laid. Another point to highlight was the use of 7 rotating tower cranes to put up more than 5,000 tons of steel and pour more than 42,000 m3 of concrete.

Pavilion 0 – Amadeu Torner Vestibule

This building will serve as a vestibule for the entrance to the new Barcelona Fair (Samples Fair).Together with the Torres Fira (two towers) and the new Fira de Barcelona complex covering a total surface area of 240,000 m², completely designed by the Japanese architect Toyo Ito, this has become an integral part of the new door to Barcelona.

Wastewater Treatment Plant of Loyola (E.D.A.R. Loyola)

DONOSTIA, Spain

 

 

The Wastewater Treatment Plant (E.D.A.R.) of Loyola in Donostia treats wastewaters for the equivalent of a city of 628,000 inhabitants (pretreated urban and industrial waters) using high load biological treatment with the capacity to treat 6,000 l/s. This concrete wastewater treatment plant will process wastewaters from the Commonwealth of Añarbe, which encompasses 10 municipalities in the Donostia area.
