This was the project for constructing a building in which the laboratories of the New Biological Research Center would be installed to complement the Universities current facilities.
This project consisted of constructing the support structure for the prefab concrete slab cantilevers used as a solution on the different floors. The structure consisted of building pillars on different sections using ORMA system formwork. On these pillars rests the grid of exempt beams for which the formwork was made of beam supports offered by the RAPID system. Three layer boards were set up as the formwork base over said supports prior to placing the transversal beams. This structure’s prop was constructed of G Falsework, and SP Props were used for the smoothing areas on the pillar crowning.
Given that the width of the risers was greater than 50 cm, COMAIN system solutions were chosen for their formation.ORMA Modular Formwork solutions were chosen for the permitral walls.
